In fact many Satanists do not believe in Satan as a spiritual being and instead indulge in a lifestyle where they put themselves first every time. So even if an occultist does not recognise Luficer directly, he’ll find his way in somehow!

Lucifer wants people to rebel away from Christ. The best way to live a life that infuriates God is to disobey all of his commandments and that’s what many different sects of Satanism preach. In fact his greatest victory was convincing these fools that he doesn’t exist in the first place. When he’s invisible in their lives he is free to warp their spirit as much as he wants.
